Links Tab

Links can be used to send internal or external users an audio file to listen without logging into the VSLogger server. Additionally, reports may also be linked to. Instead of downloading and emailing a .wav file, a link can be sent in its place and users can listen to the recording. No user or login is required for the individual to listen to the call. They only have access to the audio files you provide in the list. The link can also be set to automatically expire, and if you want, an optional password can be required to access the audio.

Under the LINKS tab, you will see all of your personal and public links. When generating a LINK, you will have the option to SHARE the link or have it PRIVATE. If Shared, others that have login access to VSLogger will be able to see the link listed. 

The LINKS tab allows you to manage these links and copy the URL to send to other users. 

Links used in QC

Previously, when conducting QC, VSlogger would upload the audio file to the Adutante Server and playback would occur within Adutante via a basic html5 audio player. After 4.8.2, VSLogger no longer uploads this file, instead, a link is accompanied with the QC form. Clicking the LINK will open a new tab and allow playback to occur within the VSLogger player, allowing for more playback control.
