Quick Guide - Recorder system| Call Recording Reference

Starting 2020 Versadial discontinued offering complete systems directly and selected to concentrate on offering call recording capability – call recording kits. This decision was made due to the fact that Versadial Resellers and IT savvy end users, generally, are better served by their preferred system integrator.

For systems shipped with Software Version: Adutante 1.7.X.X , VSLogger 4.7.X.X or newer. Older revisions of this document are attached to the online version of this document.

Versadial recording software pre-installed
Optional cables and/or connection panels, as ordered, or if included with installed recording boards
Start Up Sheet
Software License Code (and Administrator password, if shipped with Windows Server software. Windows Pro shipped with no password)
Versadial Files folder on C: drive includes: Versadial Software CD sub-folder, which includes two subfolders: drivers-docs and software

As a registered customer, you will receive your user Id and password to access the portal

Highly Recommended: save C:\Versadial and C:\Versadial Files folders on removable media and store as a backup for a future use.

STEP 1 – Initial Setup

Place system within close proximity to recorded lines.
Connect PC to grounded power.

Turn on system (Systems with Windows Server OS default Windows login: VSAdmin / admin. On systems with Windows Pro OS, Administrator Login has no password)

Adutante server is already installed and activated.
VSLogger server is already installed and registered with Adutante server.

To access Adutante:

Open the web browser and go to:
https://localhost:8443/portal/

USERNAME: admin
PASSWORD: adutante (After login, system will require password change)

If prompted for Secure Connection and Security Warning, ignore and proceed.
(Note: You may add an exception to the security certificate to avoid future pop-ups. See online Help Documentation.)

STEP 2 – Wiring Connection

Place system within close proximity to recorded lines.

STEP 3 – Final Configuration of VSLogger for Automatic recording

Refer to online documentation CLI reference, or contact Versadial support for help.

Here you'll be able to: manage users, security groups, permissions to be shared by registered VSLogger recorders; configure and manage registrations for one or more VSLogger recorders, to share users, permissions and extra services; access QC module and QC evaluations; access individual recorders, with automatic authentication.

Windows 8 and Newer are required to enable Administrator account.

Windows 8 just like its predecessor Windows 7 ships with an administrator account that is disabled by default. While it is not suggested to enable and use the administrators on a day to day basis, it have to be used for tasks that require administrative privileges.

To enable administrator account:
Go to C:\Windows\System32 and right click the file cmd.exe.
Then, click ‘Run as Administrator’ (shield icon).
At the command prompt, type: net user administrator /active:yes
